Rhythms of Resilience in the Eighth: From Abolition to Suffrage

This exhibit was a collaborative effort between the Center for Public Humanities and students from a Messiah College public history course taught by Dr. Sarah Myers. The exhibit was initially displayed in Gamut Theatre for school and public performances of Sankofa African American Theatre Company’s performances of Voices of the Eighth: Rhythms of Resilience, written by Sharia Benn and sponsored by Dauphin County Commissioners.
